Wildlife park in Gévaudan, unique in the world, with around 100 wolves from Poland, Siberia, Mongolia, the Arctic and Canada in 20 hectares of semi-liberty.

The Parc des Loups du Gévaudan has had a facelift. In 2020, you’ll be able to enjoy authentic new experiences in a renovated park. More accessible, the new observation posts will offer you greater immersion in the world of the wolf.

You haven't seen anything yet... Our territory is inextricably linked with the Beast of Gévaudan. In the Park's new configuration, a vast space is dedicated to the Beast and its history. Young and old alike will be able to enter into the legend, thanks to an immersive scenography...

Wolves will no longer hold any secrets for you. Through exhibitions, films, educational workshops and games in the museum area, discover wolves in history and mythology, and understand their biology, behavior and habitats.

The Gévaudan dens

In the heart of the new park, take advantage of our brand-new, unusual accommodations:

4 cottages built on the edge of an enclosure, the “dens” offer the promise of an unforgettable experience: sleeping opposite the pack of Polish wolves, in the heart of the forest.
These accommodations can sleep up to 5 people, for a stay with family, friends or as a couple. Keep your ears open for wolves at night!

Gîte BIALOW (46 m²) for 5 people: one bedroom (1 x 160 cm bed) and a mezzanine for children (bunk beds and 1 single alcove bed).
Gîte ILONKA (48 m²) for 5 people: one bedroom (1 bed in 160) and a mezzanine for children (bunk beds and 1 single alcove bed).
Gîte TAÏGA (54 m²) sleeps 4: one bedroom (1 x 160cm bed) and a children’s bedroom (2 single alcove beds).
Gîte TOUNDRA (43 m²) sleeps 4: one bedroom (1 x 160cm bed) and one children’s bedroom (2 single alcove beds).

OPENING

From February 5, 2022, the Parc des Loups du Gévaudan will be open every day from February to November.

  • November to March: 10am to 5pm

TO THE PARC DES LOUPS

The park is located between the Margeride region and the Aubrac Regional Nature Park, in the village of Sainte-Lucie (commune of Saint Léger de Peyre), at an altitude of 1100 m and 9 km from Marvejols.

From the A75 freeway, take exit 37 and follow “Parc Les Loups du Gévaudan” on the D809 for 5 km.

In July and August, a shuttle bus leaves from Mende, passing through Marvejols and the Parc des Loups, on Mondays and Fridays. Consult timetables.

ACTIVITIES & SERVICES

From April to June, you can take advantage of educational tours (booking required).
The park also offers evening tours in July and August (booking required).
A free kennel is available for animals at the entrance.
The wolf park restaurant/snack bar also caters for your cravings during your visit to the park.
